Robert Cronin is serving as the Associate Principal flute of the Atlanta Symphony. Previously he played for eight seasons as the Principal Flutist of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, as well as held one-year positions with the Kansas City Symphony and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.  

Raised in the Northern Virginia, Mr. Cronin graduated from Northwestern University in 1989. He received his Masters of Music degree in Composition from the University of Tennessee in 1996.   

Mr. Cronin also runs a business called COUNTERintelligence of Atlanta, which makes concrete countertops. Rob is also fluent in Swedish, loves the stock market and is an avid golfer.
